How Katie Refreshed her Bathrooms with Wallpaper
Okay, okay we’ve got a little confession. When designing your homes, we’re often inspired to make updates or changes in our own spaces. While I’m sure the others who live with us would appreciate a “one and done” design since, after all, designing is our job, it just doesn’t work that way. Our whole team is fairly consistently making changes - sometimes big, sometimes small - or adding new layers in our own spaces.
Since we’re sure you’re all dying to know what has caught our eye recently, we decided to share our updates with you as we go about the process!
Most recently, our founder and lead designer Katie Davis decided that wallpaper in the powder and kids’ bath was a must. Fun color was added to both bathrooms by way of pattern and prints from some of our favorite vendors. Read on to get all the details.
Kids’ Bath: This Schumacher Woodperry wallpaper is everything. It gave so much life to the kids’ white bathroom and serves as the perfect backdrop for the vintage dog prints on the wall. We love the blend of the clean lines and the playfulness of the leaves, mixed with the vintage pattern tiling on the floor and the art - truly a creating a one-of-a-kind kids’ bath. Who said homes with littles had to be boring!?

Powder Bath: The Lulie Wallace Mary wallpaper in Citrus Orange is truly a dream come true for this powder bath. (We source ours through Supply Showroom - the best!) The bath sits off of a beautiful white kitchen and the color and playfulness of the pattern gives a fun pop of whimsy to an elevated space. It’s feminine and bold all at once, contrasting perfectly with the dark finishes and wood paneling.
