Project Spotlight : Belmont Primary Bath

The dangerous thing about this bathroom belonging to one of us is that we would most certainly want to sit here allll day long. Coffee in the morning, wine in the afternoon, a good book - I mean, what bathroom could be more peaceful than this one!?

As we mentioned (and you all could read about in the House Beautiful feature of this charming home), our main goal was to keep as much of the historic charm in this house as possible, while updating the spaces to highlight the character the home already held. One goal in the primary bath was to open up the space and draw attention to light in the window to pull in the green, lush, English Country feel that the outdoors provided. As you can see below, the window was completely blocked by the wall between the vanity and the bathtub. The couple ended up deciding to funnel a large portion of their renovation budget into updating the primary bathroom space in order to not only offer more room, but to make the size feel appropriate for the size home it belonged in.
